What Is RSS?

Have you been seeing orange RSS or XML buttons all over the place?

They are amazing!

Basically, it means no more needing to give your email or surfing to a web site! Whenever a site updates you get all the informed immediated right on your computer!


"RSS" means "Really Simple Syndication." All that means is that when I update lets-prevent-cancer.com you immediately are notified on your computer!

So, how do you get started?

Download free RSS Reader first (skip to bottom if you do not want to download software). This is special software that reads the "RSS feeds" from the largest news organizations right down to little old me...

Once you're set up, here's all you have to do...

Right-click (control-click for Mac users) on any orange RSS button on a site, blog or news source that interests you. Start by right-clicking on the orange button below. Then...

COPY-SHORTCUTSelect Copy Shortcut ("Copy Link to Clipboard" for Mac), and paste that URL into your RSS Reader.

And that's it! You're subscribed.
